Carla
Churchill Lentz of Studio Churchill in Quincy, Illinois, first
cultivated her love of photography at the age of nine as a
4-H member in Adams County. Years later she studied black
and white photography under the late Fr. Tom Brown OFM, of
Quincy University. More recently, Carla had the privilege
to train under Master Photographer Monte Zucker, known world
wide as a premier wedding and portrait photographer. Zucker
featured Carla and her family in the April 2002 issue of "Shutterbug"
magazine. Carla Churchill Lentz is passionate about photography,
both color and black and white. She photographs weddings,
individuals, families, high school seniors, and pets. Studio
Churchill's hallmark is capturing personalities and emotion
in each portrait, believing that because life is precious
pictures should be taken at every stage of life. With a Master
of Science in Elementary Education and Bachelor of Science
in Special Education, Carla is a natural for photographing
children and teens and welcomes children with special needs.
"Where Photography and Art Meet" is the underlying
theme to all of Carla Churchill Lentz's work. Studio Churchill
is a member of Professional Photographers of America and Senior
Photographers International.
